Deacon Dan was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Diocese of Pittsburgh on June 26, 1999, by Bishop Donald W. Wuerl. He was first assigned to St. Vincent de Paul Parish and later to St. Camillus Parish, both in New Castle, PA. His diaconal ministry has included service at the altar, administering the Sacrament of Baptism, youth ministry, visiting the sick, bereavement ministry, and marriage preparation. He has also served on Finance Council. In addition to his ministry, Deacon Dan is also a Professor of Business and Computer Science for Butler County Community College and the Community College of Beaver County. He and his wife of 37 years, Karen, reside in New Castle.
