Italo (Andy) Graziani, 90, of New Castle passed away the evening of April 28, 2021, at his residence. Andy was born on March 14, 1931, in New Castle. He was the son of the late Angelo and Theresa (Del-Bene) Graziani. He was married to the late Maryann Bobosky. She passed away on July 13, 2017. They were married for 60 years.
Marlene J. Lupo, 79, of Neshannock Township, passed away the morning of April 27, 2021 at her residence. Born August 4, 1941 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Patsy and Angeline (Micco) Ragnelli. She was preceded in death on November 28, 2014 by her husband of 53 years, Robert C. Lupo, whom she married August 26, 1961.
Helen P. Attisano, 94, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of April 23, 2021. Born on June 7, 1926 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Conti Barletto. On June 19, 1947 Helen married her beloved husband, Dandy R. Attisano. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2015.
Gary L. Baxter, 73, of Randolph Street, died Monday, April 26, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. He was born in New Castle October 30, 1947, a son of the late Norman and Caroline (Johnson) Baxter. He was married to Teresa A. (Micco) Baxter on December 27, 1969, she survives in New Castle.

Ronald D. Trott, 78, of New Castle passed away the evening of April 23, 2021 at his daughter’s residence. Born on October 31, 1942 in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Elsie Ragnellie Trott. Ron was married to his beloved wife, the former Josephine E. Funera. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2009.
Dolores P. Stull, 91, of Arch Street, New Castle, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born in New Castle on March 30, 1930, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Cangey) Lambiase. She was married to the late George R. Stull who died May 18, 1999.
Jane Carol Stickle, 84, of New Castle passed away Thursday evening, April 22, 2021, in the Haven Convalescent Home. Mrs. Stickle was born September 23, 1936, in New Castle, a daughter of George F. and Teresa (Dougherty) Lowers. Her beloved husband of 51 years, Thomas Edward Stickle, whom she married November 7, 1959, preceded her in death June 15, 2011.
Verna J. Yaro, 101, passed away peacefully at the Avalon Nursing Center on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Verna was born on Feb. 4, 1920, in Chewton. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Wolowicz) Vansovich. Verna was married to the late Stanley C. Yaro. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Frances M. Cimini, 91, formerly of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 20, 2021 in Boca Raton, FL. Born on October 8, 1929 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Rose Pacella Richards. On January 26, 1952, Frances married her beloved husband, Nick J. Cimini. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2000.
Gerald A. Wyza Sr., 82, of Hillsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at UPMC in Pittsburgh. Jerry was born on March 9, 1939, in New Castle, son of the late Mabel (McCandless) and John Wyza. Jerry married the love of his life, Joan (Colucci) Wyza, on July 29, 1961. This year would have marked 60 years of marriage.

Born on March 6, 1934 in Ramey, Pa., he was the son of the late Ira Theodore and Mamie Albert Henderson. Don is survived by his beloved wife, the former Elvera M. Lalama, whom he married on October 1, 1955.
Edward E. "Smokey" Smolnik Sr., 86, passed away peacefully in his home on April 16, 2021, with his loving wife, children and grandchildren by his side. Edward was born on Feb. 12, 1935, in New Castle. He was the son of the late John and Zella (Boak) Smolnik. Edward was married to the former Nancy L. Schuller. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 61 years.

Daniel P. Hogue, 59, of New Castle passed away Friday afternoon, February 26, 2021, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, following a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Hogue was born April 24, 1961, in New Castle, a son of Arnold P. and Mary K. (Pearce) Hogue. He was a 1979 graduate of Lawrence Co. Vo-Tech, where he specialized in automotive mechanics.
Nicholas C. “Engine” Zappia, 97, of West Pittsburg passed away the evening of April 13, 2021 at UPMC Jameson. Born on April 19, 1923 in New Castle he was the son of the late John and Florence Carangie Zappia. Nick was preceded in death by his beloved wife, the former Millie Tonsetic on February 22, 1994.
