Tresa Flamino, 100, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 21, 2021 at Avalon Nursing Home. Born on February 6, 1921 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Louise Ciarlo Pagani. On September 6, 1941, Tresa married her beloved husband, Roger S. Flamino. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1994.
Tresa was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Joseph the Worker site. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed crocheting and doing crafts. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Tresa’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
Tresa is survived by her children, Roger W. Flamino (Carol) of New Castle, and Donald L. Flamino (Diana) of Kokomo, IN, four grandchildren, Roger A. Flamino (Liz), Robert Flamino (Christina), Tony Flamino (Lynn) and Gina Seagrave (Jeff) and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Tresa was preceded in death by three brothers, Ezzio, John and Lou Pagani and an infant sister and brother.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:15 pm on Wednesday for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Brendan Dawson will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
Eternal rest grant unto Tresa, O Lord. May perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
