Teresa A. Nucci, 81, formerly of Neshannock Township, passed away in the early morning of February 7, 2021 at Brookdale Chambrel Roswell Senior Living in Roswell, GA. Born in Hillsville on October 26, 1939, Teresa was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Tutino) Gallo. Preceding her in death on July 30, 1999 was her loving husband of 37 years, Anthony G. Nucci.
Teresa had been the sole proprietor and title insurance agent at Midland Real Estate Settlements in New Castle. Previously, she worked as a paralegal in the law offices of Louis Pomerico, and was a partner and business manager for Rosy’s Bakery in New Castle.
Teresa was a loving wife and mother who cherished all the times she spent with her family, especially lunches with her cousins. She enjoyed music and attended as many operas and symphony concerts as possible. She sang first soprano with the Youngstown Symphony Choir, The Shenango Valley Chorale, and the Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church choir.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Nucci and her husband, Chris Jespersen, of Roswell, GA; her son Nick Nucci and his wife, Stephanie, of Woodbine, MD; grandsons, Shawn and Christopher Bowser, and great-granddaughter, Hailey Bowser of Maryland; her brother, Frank Gallo, and his wife, Alberta, of Edinburg; and brother-in-law, Dominick Ali, of Beaver.
In addition to her parents and husband, Teresa was preceded in death by her sister Mary M. Ali.
Burial will take place in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Hillsville, Pa. A memorial Mass and family celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled in late summer. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Teresa eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
