Ronald D. Perrotta, 84, of New Castle, passed away the evening of August 9, 2022 at UPMC Jameson. Born in New Castle on February 26, 1938, Ronald was the son of the late John and Bruna Staffa Perrotta.
Ronald was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site and worked for the city of New Castle, retiring from the Public Works Department. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirate and Steelers games.
He is survived by his brother, John Perrotta (Shirley) of Fontana, CA, and Clyde Perrotta (Carol) of New Castle.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Perrotta and his sister, Antoinette “Peachy” DeJoseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church officiated by Rev Father Benjamin Barr. Burial will take place at Parkside Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Ronald, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
