Ralph N. Cialella, Jr., 75, of Cambridge Street in Neshannock Township died Thursday, June 29, 2023 at UPMC Passavant in McCandless, PA. He was born in New Castle on February 23, 1948, a son of the late Ralph N. Cialella, Sr., and Elizabeth A. (Orlando) Cialella.
Mr Cialella was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Joseph the Worker site, where he served as an altar boy as a child. A lifetime entrepreneur, 'Cuda' was the sole proprietor of Player's Bar & Grille retiring after 28 years. Mr. Cialella was an avid golfer, skilled pool player, 50-year member of the Sons of Italy, and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, 'liked by all, loved by many.' Above all, he loved spending time with his family, and will always be remembered, lovingly, as 'Papa'.
He is survived by three children, Anita M. Cialella, Jennie E. Cialella, and Ralph N. Cialella, III all of New Castle; five grandchildren, Rocco Cialella Bernadina, Angelo Cialella, Santino Cialella Bernadina, Karma Cialella, and Romello Cialella; four sisters, Charlene Cialella, Kay Ann Cialella, Marsha Cialella, and Paula J. Cialella-Cerasi all of New Castle; and his nephew, Marcello Cerasi.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his former wife, Jennie M. Emery, who died October 19, 1997.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home for the church at 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:30 am at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Ben Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Ralph, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
