Pearl A. Pagley, 91, of Neshannock Township, passed away the evening of June 2, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born in New Castle on January 6, 1931, Pearl was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes DiCola Gesue. Preceding her in death on April 9, 2018, is her loving and devoted husband of over sixty-four years, Anthony F. Pagley, whom she married on October 10, 1953.
Pearl was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. She was also a member of the Ladies Guild at the church. Pearl retired in 1994 from First National Bank where she had worked as a loan officer. She enjoyed cooking for her family and visiting casinos. Pearl’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Palmer and her husband, Chuck, of North Lima, OH and Diane Flamino and her husband, Brady, of New Castle; her sister, Viola Goclano and her husband, Joseph, of New Castle; her grandchildren, Jennifer Stabi (Keith), Andrew Palmer (Molly), Cory Palmer (Jess), Brady Flamino Jr. (Erica), Douglas Flamino (Alex), and Steven Flamino (Christina); and her great-grandchildren, Xavier, Ava, Chloe, Madie, Olivia, Mya, Austin, Jaxtin, Stella and Dax.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pearl is preceded in death by her two brothers, Emil and James Gesue.
Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:15 am for St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm by Rev. Father Joseph McCaffrey, Pastor. Burial will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Pearl, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
