Patricia J. Dardes, 98 of Hillsville, PA passed away the morning of September 6, 2023 at Mastenrick Memorial Health Center. Born in New Castle on April 3, 1925, Patricia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Frengel Ross. On May 4, 1957 Patricia married her beloved husband, George T. Dardes. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2009.
Patricia worked for the J.J. Dean Company and was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Lawrence site. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to different places. She also enjoyed taking care of her home, playing cards with friends and visiting casinos. A loving mother and grandmother Patricia’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Patricia is survived by her children, Carol Dardes of Hillsville, Pa and Anthony Dardes (Lisa) of Pittsburgh, Pa. and one granddaughter, Jordan.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Pragacz and Lucille DeSimone.
Visitation will be held on Friday 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Father Aaron Kriss of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Patricia, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
