Norman A. Naples, Sr., 77, of New Castle passed away the evening of September 11, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born in New Castle on October 9, 1941, Norman was the son of the late Steve and Julia LaMarco Naples. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Aiken Rogone Naples, whom he married on February 14, 2004.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. Norman was a butcher by trade. He had also been a firefighter for the Greenlawn Fire Dept. in Long Island, N.Y. Norman enjoyed taking cruises, was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and always enjoyed a good steak dinner. Norman was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved being surrounded by all his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Norman is survived by his children, Stacey Byers and husband Curtis, Norma Jean Naples, his step children, Anthony Rogone and wife Stephanie, Christopher Rogone, John Rogone, Jr. and wife Heather, Danielle Roman and husband Kenneth; his brother, Steve Naples, his sisters, Angel Campos, Margaret A. Naples and ten grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Irene Campbell Naples, his daughter, Darsie M. Naples, his son, Norman Naples, Jr. and a sister, Dena Naples.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 am to 11 am at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory at 941 S. Mill St. followed by a Blessing Service at 11 am at the funeral home conducted by Deacon John Carran.
