MaryAnn Seinkner, 81, of 1024 N. Ashland Ave. passed away the morning of Nov. 6, 2019, at Shenango on the Green. MaryAnn was born on May 1, 1938, in New Castle. She was a daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Sniezek Baka. She was married to the late Michael Seinkner. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2007. They were married for 49 years.
She was of the Roman Catholic faith. MaryAnn was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1955. Mrs. Seinkner worked as an office clerk for The Kidney Group for the last 19 years. She also was employed at the former Shenango Pottery for 19 years until it closed.
MaryAnn enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her dog, "Bubba." Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
MaryAnn is survived by two daughters, Debbie Seinkner of Boardman, Ohio, and Karen (Frank) Bongivengo of New Castle; son, Bobby Seinkner of New Castle; sister, Joan Trimble; five grandchildren, Michael (Kellie) Bongivengo, Gianna (Andrew) Vastano, Noah Seinkner, Christian Seinkner and Shae Seinkner; and her fur baby, Bubba. Mrs. Seinkner was preceded in death by both her parents and husband, Michael Seinkner.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Monday for Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus site, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rev. Victor Molka, Parish Chaplin, will officiate. Burial will be at Madonna Cemetery.
