Maryann Perod, 57, of New Castle passed away the evening of March 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 14, 1963 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Cimperman Stutz.
Maryann had worked for LARK Enterprises as a supervisor. She then had worked for PARC as a care taker. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Maryann enjoyed cooking and going shopping. She loved the outdoors and doing her gardening. Maryann was known for her loving and caring spirit and was loved by many. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her entire family, especially the sleepovers she had with her grandchildren.
Maryann is survived by her husband, Thomas Perod, her children, Angelic Suisi (Eric), Thomas Perod (Ashley) and Amber Perod and her companion David Roberts, two sisters, Georgia Edgerton and Debbie Spier and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Stutz, and sister, Dorothy (Tyke) Wright.
A Private Blessing Service will be held for the family at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. Father Anthony Sciarappa of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Maryann eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
