Mary Jane Moore-Pugliese, 96, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away from this world at her son's home, surrounded by family, the morning of Dec. 1, 2022. Mary was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Hillsville, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Domenick and Mary (Robb) Pugliese. She was married to the late Lawrence K. Moore Sr. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1998. They were married for 50 years.
Mrs. Moore was of the Roman Catholic faith. She was a devout Catholic, and loved singing in the church choir. She be remembered by her family as an extraordinary and loving sibling, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, godmother, friend and homemaker. Mary Jane was a classy dresser, great listener, pizzelle chef extraordinaire and immaculate housekeeper. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her son, Ken (Nancy) Moore of Missouri; daughter, Pam (Darrell) Wall; brother, Bill Polis; three grandsons, Brian Moore, Blaine (Twilight) Moore and Brent (Lily Leung) Moore; great-grandchildren, Rickelle Moore, Hunter (Brittini) Moore, Katrina Moore and Ryan Moore; great-great grandchildren, Aiden, Terry, and Evelyn Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, admirers and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St. A graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at Madonna Cemetery. Rev. Aaron Kriss, Parochial Vicar of Holy Spirit Parish, will officiate.
Eternal rest grant unto Mary Jane, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
