Martha M. DiNardo, 78, of Edinburg, Pa., passed away the evening of December 24, 2021 at Jameson Care Center. Born in New Castle on March 9, 1943, Martha was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Angelo Croach. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald DiNardo, whom she married on August 5, 1967.
Martha was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. She retired from AT&T where she had worked as a relay operator. Prior to that, she had worked at Liberty Mutual in the clerical department, G.O. Crivelli and as a secretary for Union Elementary School.
Martha loved taking care of her home for her family and doted on her pets. She enjoyed candy making and making her famous Buckeyes. Martha was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother, who cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her two children, Sharyn Hardisky and husband, Joshua, of New Castle, Dominick DiNardo and his wife, Jackie, of Boardman, OH; her brother, Jesse Croach and wife, Pamela, her sister, Theresa Plant and husband, Gilbert, sister-in-law, Linda Croach, all of New Castle; two grandchildren, Dominick DiNardo, Jr and Matthew Hardisky and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Croach, Jr.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St.A procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am for Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am officiated by Rev. Father Joseph McCaffrey. Family requests masks be worn at the visitation and Mass. urial will take place at Parkside Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Martha, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. Let her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
