Marlene Fair, 78, of Union Township, passed away the morning of September 15, 2023 at her residence. Born in New Castle on April 7, 1945, Marlene was the daughter of the late Earl and Doris Bowen Clark. On June 8, 1968, Marlene married her beloved husband, Joseph D. Fair. He survives at home.
Marlene was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Marlene’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her granddaughters.
In addition to her husband, Marlene is survived by her two children, David Fair of Cranberry, PA and Michele Mrozek (Steven) of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Edd Clark; and two granddaughters, Leah and Maya Mrozek.
In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her brother, David Clark and sister, Janet Baron.
Honoring her wishes, a private Mass of Christian Burial for her family was held at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church, with Father Aaron Kriss officiating. Burial was in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Eternal rest grant unto Marlene, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
