Mark J. Mrozek, 48, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Nov. 2, 2021. Mark was born in New Castle to Walter and Dorothy (Rachic) Mrozek on March 21, 1973.
Mark was a graduate of Mohawk High School. He graduated from Penn State with an associate's degree in business administration. He was of the Roman Catholic faith. Mark was a driver for UPS for 20 years and was the union steward for five of those years. In 2016, he was elected as a business agent with Teamsters Local No. 261, where he was president for the past three years. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing and he loved his dog, Sydney. He also enjoyed the outdoors and going to the mountains.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his brother, Todd (Tammy) Mrozek of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; and loving niece and nephew, Megan and Zach Mrozek of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
Mark is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Victoria Mrozek; and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Rachic.
In honor of his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private blessing service will be held Monday morning, Nov. 8, 2021, for his immediate family at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 S. Mill St. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate.
Give Mark eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on him forever. Let us find in your Son comfort for our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
