Mark A. Stachowiak, 69, of 1309 Sunny Ave., New Castle, passed away the morning of June 19, 2023, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mark was born Oct. 24, 1953, in Ellwood City, the son of the late Bernard and Margie (St. John) Stachowiak. Mark was married to the former Fran C. Pierz who survives at home.
Mark was of the Roman Catholic faith and attended Holy Spirit Parish. He was a graduate of Mohawk High School, class of 1971. Mark worked alongside his wife, Fran, for over 12 years as co-owner and operator of Doodles V-Twin Motorcycle shop in Mahoningtown. He enjoyed all types of motorcycles especially, Harley Davidsons.
An avid Minnesota Vikings fan who also loved hunting, he will be remembered by his family and friends as a great mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Fran, Mark is survived by his daughter, Kristena M. Seidler of Girard, Ohio; two brothers, Blaine E. (Phyllis) Stachowiak of West Pittsburg and Paul "Randy" (Beth) Stachowiak of New Castle; and three grandsons, Dylan Payne, Marshall Seidler and Evan Seidler.
Mr. Stachowiak was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Stoviak.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle. A blessing service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Mark, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
