Margaret “Margie” Mezza, 60, of Aliquippa, Pa. passed away on November 1, 2021 at her residence. Born on April 14, 1961 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John J. Mezza. Her mother Josephine Lascala Mezza survives in New Castle.
Margie worked as an office manager for City Coin Machine Service in Bridgeville, Pa. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler, Penguin and Pirates fan. Margie enjoyed baking and traveling. She was a huge Walt Disney fan, especially anything that had to do with Mickey Mouse. A loving daughter, sister and aunt, Margie’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her mother, Margie is survived by her brother, Vincent (Diane) Mezza of West Mifflin, two sisters, Yolanda Harper of Freedom, Pa., Mary (Mark) Hiler of Edinburg, two nieces and two nephews.
In addition to her father, Margie was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Harper.
Honoring her wishes there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Joseph McCaffrey, Pastor will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
