Margaret B. Copple, 92, of Shenango Township passed away the evening of January 19, 2022 at Heritage Valley Good Samaritan Hospice. Born on March 27, 1929 in Yatesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Fortunato and Romana Bondi Troggio. On May 20, 1950, Margaret married her beloved husband, Donald A. Copple. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2004.
In the early years Margaret worked for Universal Rundle Corp. and the Crane Company. She then worked for Rockwell International as a purchasing agent until she retired in 1986. Margaret was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Joseph the Worker site.
Margaret enjoyed sewing, doing crossword puzzles, bowling and going to card club. She was always known as an excellent cook. As a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her greatest joy was spending time with and taking care of her family.
Margaret is survived by her children, Donald A. Copple, Jr. (Wanda) of Citrus Springs, FL and David Copple (Carla) of Monaca, Pa, three grandchildren, Dana Brown (Erik), Stephanie Cox (Steven) and Michelle Copple, her sister-in-law, Thresa Richards of Oklahoma City, Ok, four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Beau, Brielle and Colton and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by three brothers, Guido (Guy) Troggio, Lee Troggio and Reggie Troggio.
Visitation will be on Monday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Margaret, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
