Lucille M. Scarnati, 76, of New Castle, passed away the morning of Oct. 24, 2022, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born Dec. 15, 1945, in New Castle, Lucille was the daughter of the late Emedio and Phyllis Mae Orlando Gennock. On Feb. 2, 1967, Lucille married her beloved husband, Albert J. Scarnati. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 2020.
Lucille was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vincent de Paul site. Lucille was an avid bowler. A loving mother and sister, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Bernadette C. Scarnati of New Castle and one brother, John Gennock (Barbara) of North Jackson, Ohio.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her brother, James Gennock; and her sister, Phyllis Dodson.
Honoring her wishes, there are no calling hours and the service is private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Eternal rest grant unto Lucille, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
