Loislee Windl, 88, of New Wilmington passed away the morning of April 30, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 26, 1936, Loislee was the daughter of the late John J. and Evelyn Gerskie Evans. Loislee is survived by her beloved husband, Gordon E. Windl whom she married on August 6, 1955.
For many years, Loislee worked as the office manager at Windl Dental Laboratories. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus worship site. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Loislee’s family was everything to her and the time they spent together.
In addition to her husband, Loislee is survived by her four children, Jay G. Windl (Tammi), Kacelyn Jameson (Dennis), M’Liss Caldwell and Dr. Robin C. Windl (Kimberly); her sister, Jacqueline Formica (Salvatore); eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will Tuesday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Loislee, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
