Lisa R. Heasley, 59, of Bessemer passed away the morning of July 13, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio. Born on October 23, 1963 in New Castle, Lisa was the daughter of the late Alexander and Anita L. Costa Pagley. Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Heasley, whom she married on August 25, 1984.
Lisa was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. She enjoyed visiting casinos and playing the slots and buying scratch off tickets. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lisa’s greatest joy was having family gatherings and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Lisa is survived by her children, Stevilynn Gwin (Adam) and Jocelyn Heasley; four brothers, Alex, Brian, Richard and Austin Pagley; two sisters, Rhonda Preisner and Anita Pagley; her half-sister, Tina Brown; and two grandchildren, Harper and Grayson.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by one sister, Treece Pagley Shelenberger, and three brothers, Jeffrey Natale and Mark and Dominic Pagley.
Visitation will be on Monday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Darryl Lockie of Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Lisa, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
