Kimberly A. Dalton, 58, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of April 11, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Kim was born in New Castle on February 6, 1964. She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Compeli, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Angela “Angel” Fontana Compeli in New Castle. Kim is also survived by her beloved husband, Paul L. Dalton, whom she married on August 9, 2010.
Kim had been working as a cashier at Giant Eagle. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Kim enjoyed visiting casinos and playing scratch off tickets. She will be remembered for her big heart, always happy and smiling. Kim’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother and husband, Kim is survived by her step-son, Billy Dalton of California, her brother, James Compeli, III (Rachel) of Ravenna, OH, her sister, Kelly Cavelli (Fred) of New Castle, one step-grandson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, Kim was preceded in death by her stepson, Nathan Dalton. The family will receive friends on Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
Eternal rest grant unto Kimberly, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
