Juliann M. Jaskola, 81, of Union Township passed away the afternoon of January 3, 2022 at UPMC Jameson. Born on August 11, 1940 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Inez Rubeis Pasquarello. Juliann was married to her beloved husband, William W. Jaskola, for fifty-six years. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2016.
Juliann had worked as a cook and chef for many years. She was the snack bar manager at Ames Department Store, a chef for Ladbrokes in New Castle and then a cook at Ralphs Supermarket. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Juliann enjoyed visiting casinos and going to bingo. She also enjoyed watching the Food Network and her favorite Soap Operas on television. A loving mother, and grandmother her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Juliann is survived by her children, Michael A. Jaskola of Ellwood City, Marci L. Jaskola and her boyfriend, Cecil Clance, of New Castle and William A. Jaskola (Simone) of Long Island, NY, her sister, Marie Wise of New Castle and six grandchildren, Riley, Wade, Andrew, Nicholas, Analynn and Faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, Juliann was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Jaskola.
A Private Graveside Service officiated by Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will be held for the family at St. Philip & James Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Eternal rest grant unto Juliann, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
