Judy Germani, 76, of New Castle passed away the morning of July 22, 2023 at Quality Life Services New Castle. Born on August 21, 1946 in New Castle, Judy was the daughter of the late George Moses and Jane Hake. Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Germani, in 2010.
Judy was a graduate of Union Area High School. She had worked as a secretary for twenty-six years for S.N.P.J. until she retired. Judy also enjoyed her part-time work at the Lawrence County Courthouse in the election’s office.
Judy loved animals. She also enjoyed crafting and going shopping. A beloved mother and grandmother, Judy’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her granddaughter, Ronnie.
Judy is survived by her two children, Tim Germani (Stacey) and Tammy Germani; her brother, Tim Moses (Darlene); her nephew, Tim Moses, Jr. and niece, Alicia Vaniel; and granddaughter, Ronnie James Germani.
Visitation will be on Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Judy, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
