Judith Ann Drebus, age 79 of Neshannock Twp., passed away the evening of June 16, 2021, at her residence. Born March 21, 1942, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Otto and Juanita (Boehmer) Klein. On January 19, 1963, she married her beloved husband of 58 years, Dale Drebus. He survives at home.
Judith was a graduate of South Hills High School. She worked at Dollar Savings Bank, which subsequently became First National Bank, retiring in 1999. Judith enjoyed traveling, cruises, the beach, shopping and going out to lunch, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. What gave her the most joy in life, was being a mother and a grandmother. She cherished the times she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Dawn Drebus of New Castle, PA, Tracie (Randy) Crago of Meadville, PA, Jodi (Marvin Jr.) Mackeprang of New Castle, PA; two sisters, Connie Bush of Newnan, GA and Ivy (Bill) Deighan of Pittsburgh, PA; and three grandchildren, Tyler Crago, Abigail Crago and Alexandra Mackeprang.
Along with her parents, Judith is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Klein and one brother-in-law Thomas Bush.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A service will follow immediately at 4:00 pm officiated by Deacon John Carran and Seminarian Dan Roberts of Holy Spirit Parish. Burial will be at Parkside Cemetery.
Give Judith eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
