They say true character is shown when life throws you a challenge. In those tough challenges, it will be hard to find a more gracious, kind, admirable and determined person than Joe DePinto. Our Superman Joe has overcome more obstacles than several people in a lifetime. With each hurdle, we’ve been more thankful, more inspired, stronger in faith and more appreciative of every single moment.
It is with great sadness that on May 5, 2022, Joe DePinto, 78, has been called to heaven. Joe DePinto is proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph DePinto, Antoinette Donatelli DePinto & his brother Dominick DePinto. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, lived in New Bedford, Pennsylvania anf attended New Wilmington High School.
After marrying his wife, Helen Dando DePinto, they resided in Edinburg, Pennsylvania with their two daughters. Working as a plant operator, Joe had many friends at Penn Power in West Pittsburg. He loved traveling and had visited 50 states. His favorite was visiting his daughters and son-in-laws in Florida and Virgina to see his grandkids. You could catch him watching the Steelers Games, a New Wilmington Football game or a NASCAR race. He loved a card game with friends, a good puzzle and working on his antique cars.
Joe is survived by his wife, Helen Dando DePinto, his daughters, Lori DePinto Sainato (Adam Sainato) and Kelly DePinto Hess (Zachary Hess), his siblings Janet Fabry(Mike), Marietta Ciavarella (Lou), Paula Sherrod(Mark) and Danny DePinto and his greatest joy, grandkids Isabelle and Anderson.
