Joan Hilda Kamyk, 91, of Lawrenceville, originally Troy Hill, peacefully passed away of natural causes on Monday, April 27, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Mearl Kamyk, Sr.

Wonderful mother of Barbara (Bill Henrich) Kamyk, Theresa (Mike) Boruta, Mearl (Diana) Kamyk, Jr. and David (Betty) Kamyk. Devoted grandmother of Magdelaina (Tim) Boruta-Paules, Michael (Shontay) Boruta, Devin, Lukas, Kevin and Nicole Kamyk. Great-Grandmother of Cayden and Willow. Joan, a member of Holy Spirit Parish (formally St. James Church) and a resident of the Villa Maria Apartments in Villa Maria, PA where she resided for the past 5 years.

Joan, affectionately called "Mom" by all her extended family, was a shark at card games, enjoyed amusement parks, picnicking, puzzles, swimming and beach vacations. Joan had a great sense of humor and enjoyed practical jokes. Her homemade chicken soup, pecan pie, apple pie and poppy seed cake were notorious. She is loved and deeply missed by her family and friends.

Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Joan eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
