Helen Joan Golis, 94, of New Castle passed away the morning of March 26, 2023 at Quality Life Services of New Castle. Born in New Castle on September 18, 1928, Helen was the daughter of the late Louis and Sophia Budzowski Golis.
Helen was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Parish, the former St. Phillip and James now St. Vincent de Paul site.
Helen is survived by her nephew, Stan Golis and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley L. Golis, Louis Golis and Henry Golis, an infant sister, Genevieve Golis and her nephew, Kenneth Golis.
A Blessing Service will held on Tuesday April 4th at 11:30 a.m. at Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Philip & James Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Helen, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
