Gloria J. Ippolito, 76, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of April 16, 2023. Born on June 18, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, Gloria was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Carcelli Zokle.
Gloria worked for twenty-five years in the housekeeping department of the former Indian Creek Nursing Home. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. An avid reader, she also enjoyed the outdoors and going camping. A loving mother and grandmother, Gloria’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by her son, Anthony Ippolito (Crissy), two sisters, Louise Frank and Toni Ippolito, four grandchildren, Kylee (David), Madison, Jennah and Avery, also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her former husband, Jack Ippolito.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 19th, at 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Gloria, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
