Gilda C. Germani, 93, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of August 2, 2020 at Jameson Care Center. Gilda was born on October 24, 1926 in Farrell, Pa. to the late Carmine and Assunta DePascale. On September 2, 1950, she married her beloved husband, Albert John Germani. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2006.
Gilda had been the former co-owner, along with her husband of Germani’s Jewelry Store.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Gilda was an avid bowler who had participated in many leagues over the years. She also enjoyed playing cards. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Gilda is survived by her two daughters, Vicky Germani of Glastonbury, CT., Kim Cioffi and her husband, Joseph, of New Castle, her son, Albert Germani, Jr. of San Diego, Calif., one brother, Patsy Pellegrino, and five grandchildren, Candice Jersey and her husband Andrew, Alex Williams, Joseph, Matthew and Isabella Cioffi and one great-grandchild, Milo Jersey.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gilda was preceded in death by two brothers, Napoleon and Silvio DePascale, four sisters, Jean DePascale, Mary Morsillo, Florine Stefanick and Armenia Fister.
Due to the current health situation within our community, a
private visitation and Blessing Service will be held for the family at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Father Joseph McCaffrey, Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
