Geraldine E. Koski, 83 of New Castle, passed away on June 23, 2023. She was born in West Mifflin, Pa. on July 15, 1939, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Dudash Liszka. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Koski, on June 15, 2013.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She truly had a green thumb throughout her life taking care of many beautiful flowers for the benefit of the neighborhood.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Robert Edward Koski (Diane), Poland, OH, Jeffrey C. Koski, Jennifer M. Herr (John), David J. Koski (Amber), all of New Castle; loving grandmother to Ian Herr, Robert Herr, Alexandra Herr, Landon Koski, Ava Koski; also survived by her sister, Sylvia Liszka Durell, of Springhill, FL and brother Edward Liszka (Jane), of State College, Pa.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Gary Lee Koski, on October 16, 2015; sisters, Paula Liszka Shreiner and Susan Liszka; and brother, Eugene Liszka.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27th, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Father Aaron Kriss of Holy Spirit Parish. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Geraldine, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
