Frank Lovich, 90, formerly of Pulaski, passed away the morning of May 19, 2020, at Edison Manor. Born on Sept. 23, 1929, in Kittanning, he was a son of Stefan and Magdeline (Tokar) Lovich. Frank married Erma J. (Lewis) Lovich on March 31, 1948. Erma preceded him in death just six days earlier on May 13, 2020. They now will rest in peace together after 71 years of marriage.
Frank was employed with Republic Steel in Youngstown, Ohio, for 30 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his three sons, Frank (Kathy) Lovich of Chagrin Falls, Ohio,, John Lovich of Austin, Texas, and Mike (Pamela) Lovich of Wampum; a sister-in-law, Vera Mauthe of Kittanning; nine grandchildren, Kelly, Shanan, Frank, Joshua, Jourdan, Kramer, Courtney, Melissa and Darlene; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Due to the unfortunate health crisis within our country
, a private Blessing Service, officiated by Fr. Brendan Dawson of Holy Spirit Parish, will be held on Friday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. of New Castle. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
