Frances M. Cimini, 91, formerly of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 20, 2021 in Boca Raton, FL. Born on October 8, 1929 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Rose Pacella Richards. On January 26, 1952, Frances married her beloved husband, Nick J. Cimini. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2000.
Frances had worked for the former St. Francis Hospital of New Castle as a Payroll Supervisor until she retired. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. After moving to Boca Raton, Frances attended Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Frances was an avid Disney enthusiast, she loved anything Disney and was known for her many visits to Walt Disney World in Florida. Frances was also known for her love of chocolates. Frances held a special place in her heart for all animals, including her own pets. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Frances’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her children, Rebecca McCarthy (George) and Ramona Grimm (Patrick), one brother, Nicholas Richards and one sister, Nancy Bonk, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Richards.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Father Joseph McCaffrey will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Frances eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
