Elizabeth J. Dalesandro, 87, of New Castle passed away the morning of October 18, 2020 at UPMC Jameson. Born on September 29, 1933 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary DiTola Dalesandro.
In the early years, Elizabeth worked for Morelli Drive Inn. She later worked for Shaffer & Snyder Pharmacy. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Elizabeth enjoyed bowling and going to Bingo. Elizabeth’s greatest joy was visiting and spending time with her family and friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her two sisters, Josephine Dalesandro and Rose Marie Sandullo, both of New Castle and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Dalesandro and two sisters, Ann Cassella and Grace Dalesandro.
Honoring her wishes, services are private. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Elizabeth eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
