Edward Miloszewski, 63, of 1106 Butler Ave., passed away on the evening of Jan. 28, 2021, at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Edward was born on Feb. 16, 1957, in New Castle. He was the son of the late Stanley and Frances M. (Buchowski) Miloszewski. Edward was married to the former Debbie Moses. They were married for 12 years.
Edward was of the Roman Catholic faith and a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vincent de Paul site.Mr. Miloszewski was a graduate of Lawrence County Vocational Technique School, class of 1975. He retired after 30 years of service as a porter at Preston Auto Group in New Castle. Edward worked part time at Lombardo's Apothecary. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance. Edward was an avid Hot Air Balloon enthusiast and enjoyed shopping. In addition to his wife, Debbie, Edward is survived by two stepchildren, Crystal (Chris) Gage of Stephens City, Virginia, and Michael (Raven) Swesey Jr. of Greenville, South Carolina; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his loving dog, Lucky.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill St., New Castle. A blessing service will be conducted immediately following visitation at the funeral home. The Rev. Brendan Dawson, parochial vicar of Holy Spirt will officiate. Burial will be in SS. Phillip and James Cemetery.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Edward eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on him forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
