Dolores Elvira Guiliano, 91, of Paul Street died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle. She was born on March 18, 1932, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Nick and Tresa (San Matteo) Domenick. She was married to the late William Joseph Guiliano, who died on July 5, 2016.
Mrs. Guiliano was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, retiring after 47 years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vincent de Paul site. She enjoyed going to casinos, traveling, cooking, and loved doing jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by one daughter, Jodi A. Jacobson and her husband, James, of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Jillian Bergstrom and Justin Jacobson; one great-granddaughter, Briar; one brother, Frank Domenick of New Castle; and one sister, Louise McCready of New Castle.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Domenick and Louis Domenick, and five sisters, Marie Russo, Annie Pascarella, Jennie Nocera, Rose Felix, and Virginia Gaggiano.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Blessing Service will be celebrated Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 6:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate.Burial will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Dolores, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
