Dennis G. Elisco, 67, of New Castle passed away the morning of October 25, 2023. Dennis was born in New Castle on February 7, 1956. Dennis is survived by his loving mother, Betty DeSimone Elisco.
Dennis worked as an Independent Insurance Agent for many years. A graduate of New Castle High School, Dennis was a member of the championship team of 1973 and continued to be a die hard NeCaHi fan. For Dennis, everything revolved around his faith, family and friends, spending time with all of his family and many friends. One of his greatest joys was having lunch with his buddies. Dennis had been a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site.
In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Ashley Elisco-Romeo (Giuliano) and Gabrielle Sposetta (Douglas) all of Boardman Ohio; his two sisters, Linda Westrick and Susan Perrotta (Angelo) both of New Castle; his former wife, Deborah Elisco of New Castle; and one grandson, Douglas Sposetta.
In addition to his father, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Edward Westrick, Jr.
Visitation will be on Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at
11:00 a.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
Eternal rest grant unto Dennis, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
