Dannelle L. Ross Stanich, 59. of Neshannock Township passed away the afternoon of April 3, 2021 at UPMC Montefiore. Born on September 21, 1961 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Patsy and Antoinette Cherozzi Ross. On July 4, 2009, Dannelle married her beloved husband, Paul M. “Bub” Stanich. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2020.
Dannelle had worked as a medical secretary at the former St. Francis Hospital and in the offices of Dr. Melidona and Dr. Magda. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Dannelle enjoyed going to play bingo, visiting casinos, dancing and going shopping. A loving mother and grandmother Dannelle’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren.
Dannelle is survived by her children, Antonette Gealy and Nicole Pagley, both of New Castle, her sister, Lisa Beshero of New Castle and four grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Lydia, and Gino.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. Visitors are required to adhere to CDC guidelines regarding the wearing of facial masks and practicing social distancing. A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Father Joseph McCaffrey, Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Ceetery.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Dannelle eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
