Clara Gargasz September 9, 1926 to August 12, 2020
Clara Gargasz, 93, formerly of Volant, Pa. passed away the morning of August 12, 2020 at The Caring Place in Franklin, Pa. Born on September 9, 1926 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Rose Sniezek Presnar. On September 28, 1947, Clara married her beloved husband, Edward Gargasz, Sr. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2008.

In the early years, Clara had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bashline Hospital, now Grove City Hospital, until she retired after thirty-eight years. Clara loved to crochet. She enjoyed the outdoors doing her gardening. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Clara’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.

Clara is survived by her children, Edward Gargasz and his wife, Glenda Sue, Sophie Aaron and her husband, James, all of Franklin, PA, Debra Leprich and her husband, John, of Cleveland, OH, her grandchildren, Robert Aaron and his wife, Patricia, Carrie Alden and her husband, Shawn, Justin Aaron and his, wife Gina, Jeff Leprich and his wife, Jamie, Sarah Mainiero and her husband, Joe, her great-grandchildren, Matthew Aaron and wife, Sylvia, Brittney Aaron, Colton Aaron, Shawn Alden, Jr. and his significant other Tori, Nicole Alden, Oren Alden, Joshua Leprich, Amri Leprich, Callum Howard, and Evelyn Howard, and her great-great grandchildren, Hunter Aaron, Sophia DeMarco, Jaxon Alden and Jameson Alden.

In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by three brothers, seven sisters and one granddaughter, Jennifer Leprich.

Honoring her wishes there will be a private Blessing Service, officiated by Deacon Dan Kielar of Holy Spirit Parish, held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.

Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Clara eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
