Billie Jean Cioffi, 67, of New Castle passed away the morning of October 2, 2019 at her residence. She was born on July 3, 1952 in New Castle, the daughter of Raymond and Florence Jacobs Moore. She was preceded in death by her father and her mother survives and resides in New Castle. Billie Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Cioffi and he survives at home.
Billie Jean had worked as an X-Ray Technician for St. Francis Hospital in New Castle and Northside Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. Billie Jean loved animals. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with family and friends.
In addition to her mother and husband, Billie Jean is survived by her daughter, Danene Chill Fulkerson and her husband James of Pittsburgh, two brothers, Dennis R. Moore of Youngstown and Gary Lee Moore of New Castle.
Visitation will be on Friday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Victor Molka, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
