Betty J. Buckley, 83, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of August 24, 2022 at Jameson Care Center. Born on October 10, 1938 in New Castle, Betty was the daughter of the late Pete and Anna Venditto Squillo. Betty married her beloved husband Joseph H. Buckley on December 18, 1981. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2009.
Betty had worked for the New Castle Area Schools as a secretary until she retired after twenty-six years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus site. Betty enjoyed visiting casinos and cooking. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Betty is survived by her children, Rick Fee (Sandy) of Port Charlotte, FL; Paul Fee, (Kim); Randy Fee (Deanne); and Steve Fee (RoseAnn) all of New Castle, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Pete Squillo and one sister, Virginia Isaac.
Visitation will be on Friday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Betty, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
