Anthony P. Conti Jr., 77, of Pulaski passed away the morning of Sept. 26, 2023 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Anthony was born May 19, 1946, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the son of the late Anthony P. and Carmella (Gaglione) Conti Sr. He was married to the former Jennifer L. Howell. She survives at home. They were married for 29 years.
Mr. Conti was of the Roman Catholic faith. Anthony was a graduate of Rayen High School, class of 1965, in Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. Conti retired after numerous years of service as a railroad conductor with the CSX Corporation.
Anthony loved hunting, fishing and going out west. For Anthony, gardening was his passion. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony (Kim) Conti of Neshannock Township; Mark Conti of Lowellville, Ohio; Chris Conti of Pulaski, Pennsylvania; Michael (Destin) Conti of Shenango, Pennsylvania; Katie Conti of Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania, and stepson, Chris S. (Amy) Howell of Norwalk, Ohio; sister, Kathleen Wick Conti of Austintown, Ohio; sister-in-law, Marylin Conti of Boardman, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild due in December.
Mr. Conti was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John A. Conti.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle. A blessing service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October. 2, 2023, in the funeral home. Rev. Aaron Kriss, parochial vicar of Holy Spirit Parish, will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date.
Eternal rest grant unto Anthony, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
