Anthony L. Costa, Jr., 57, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of February 18, 2023 at Caprice Health Center, North Lima, OH. Anthony was born in New Castle on April 29, 1965. He is survived by his parents, Anthony L. Costa, Sr. and Catherine A. Caravella Costa at home in Neshannock Township.
Anthony was a graduate of Neshannock High School. He then attended Penn State University. In earlier years, Anthony was the owner of Porta La Casa Pizza Shop. More recently he had worked for Concordia Home Health Care where he loved helping and taking care of people. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Anthony was an avid sports fan of all the Pittsburgh sports teams. He also loved watching wrestling on television. A loving son, brother and uncle Anthony’s greatest passion was his family, especially his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He loved hearing about all of their activities they were involved in.
In addition to his parents, Anthony is survived by his brother, Patrick Costa, his sister, Concetta Macurak (Andrew) and his several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Anthony was preceded in death by his sister, Renee Costa, and his brother, Vincent A. Costa.
Honoring his wishes a private Blessing Service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Anthony, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
