Annette Krueger, 89, of Neshannock Township, died the evening of Friday, January 17, 2020, in Jameson Hospital. She was born July 1930 in Bessemer, the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia Manifrang Lombardi. She married Dr. James R. Krueger in June 19, 1954.
Annette attended Bessemer High School, graduated from Geneva College in 1952 and taught business administration and commercial education classes at Wampum High School from 1952 to 1956. She loved life and enjoyed dancing, traveling and reading. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed homemaking, she especially loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a member, Eucharistic Minister and Sunday school teacher at St. Camillus Church of Holy Spirit Parish. Annette also volunteered with the Jameson Junior Guild between 1959 and 1998.
Survivors include her husband, Jim, and two children, Brad Krueger of New Castle, Lisa Close and her husband, Richard, of New Jersey; three sisters, Irene Thames of Syracuse, N.Y., Jane DeNunzio of Richmond, Va., and Dr. Lorraine Lombardi of Philadelphia; sister-in-law Eleanor Krueger of New Castle, granddaughter Elise of Massachusetts and four nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Victor G. DeNunzio and Louis Krueger Jr.
Visitation will be on Friday 4:00 p.m.to 6 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Family and Friends will meet at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Father Victor Molka, Jr. will officiate. Entombment will be at Castle View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
