Anna Mae Donahue, 82, of 4196 Edinburg Road passed away the evening of March 22, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born August 24, 1940 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Richard J. and Anna (Crudell) Mann. Anna Mae was married to the late Lawrence R. Donahue for 7 years. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1972.
Anna Mae was of the Roman Catholic faith and attended Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Mrs. Donahue was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1958. She retired after numerous years of service with Morgan Foods in Warren OH. Anna Mae was a General Manager at several different restaurants in the Warren area. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great nephews and nieces.
Anna Mae is survived by her sister, Clara Judith Parra of New Castle; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Lawrence, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Mann and infant sister, Joanne Mann.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle. A Blessing Service will be celebrated immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
Eternal rest grant unto Anna Mae, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
