Albert J. DiMuccio, 65, of Shenango Township passed away on July 22, 2022 at his residence. Born on June 18, 1957 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Albert D. and Mary A. Carkitto DiMuccio.
Albert was a graduate of Shenango High School. He had worked for Medure’s Restaurant for over twenty -five years but was presently employed at New Castle Area Transit Authority. Albert was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site.
Albert was an avid and passionate golfer, winning the New Castle News Tournament. He also enjoyed gardening and music. Albert loved spending time with family and friends and especially having cookouts on his patio. He was a kind and compassionate person. Although Albert did not have children of his own, he cherished his nieces and nephews, his cousins and friend’s children and he was Godfather to many. Those who knew Albert “loved him.”
Albert is survived by two brothers, John R. DiMuccio (Donna) and Joseph C. DiMuccio; one sister, Rosemarie Flamino; nephews, Artie Flamino and Joe DiMuccio; nieces, Nicole Mignano, Jennifer Babusci, Lisa Jarrett and Natalie DiMuccio; and many cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Arthur Flamino.
Visitation will be on Monday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Father Brendan Dawson of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Albert, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
