Alan L. Peluso, 65, of New Castle passed away the morning of December 2, 2021 at the Haven Nursing Home. Born on June 16, 1956 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Eugene and Rachael Marvella Peluso.
Alan had been a Deputy Warden at the Lawrence County Jail before becoming Warden. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus site. In the early years Alan had played football for Neshannock High School. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed the outdoors, going hunting and fishing.
Alan is survived by three brothers, Cary Peluso of Tampa, FL, Brian Peluso and Robin Peluso, both of New Castle and one sister, Jeanne Roxberry of New Castle.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory.
Eternal rest grant unto Alan, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him and may his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
