Ada M. Cialella, 95, formerly of New Castle passed away the evening of December 27, 2021 at her residence in Verona, Pa. She was born on March 3, 1926 in New Castle a daughter of the late Vincenzo (James) and Amalia D’Angelo Marcotuli. On November 24, 1951 Ada married her beloved husband, Carl A. Cialella, Jr. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1997.
Ada was the owner of Cialella & Carney Florists for over fifty years, until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Ada was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Ada’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Ada is survived by her daughter, Cindy Horlick of Verona, Pa., three grandchildren, Thessaly Klingensmith, Brandy Keller and Richard C. Cialella, and two great-grandchildren, Evan Keller and Kara Keller.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ada was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Cialella and Robert Cialella and two brothers, Alfonso Marcotuli and Reno “Cookie” Marcotuli.
Visitation will be on Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. The family requests that Visitors please wear masks during the visitation and service. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
Eternal rest grant unto Ada, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. Let her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
