Veronica L. Orlando, 63, of New Castle, passed away the morning of March 9, 2021 at UPMC East in Monroeville, Pa. Born on June 13, 1957 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Orlando, Sr. and Rita M. VonFeldt Orlando.
Veronica had worked for Revco and then Walmart as a cashier. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Veronica loved music. She was always active in the yearly musical The Messiah.
Veronica is survived by her sister, Joanne M. Winter, her brother, Robert Orlando, step-mother, Martha Orlando, three nephews, Jake, Adam and Luke Winter and two nieces, Anna and Brittany Orlando.
In addition to her parents, Veronica was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Orlando; her brother, Joseph A. Orlando, Jr.; and her sister, Kathleen Orlando.
Services are private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Veronica eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on her forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord. Amen.
