Stanley D. Telesz

February 9, 1937 to April 25, 2020

Stanley D. Telesz, 83, of Ellwood City, passed away at The Hospice House in Poland, Ohio the evening of April 25, 2020. Born on February 9, 1937 in New Castle he was the son of the late Stanley and Josephine A. Kusnierczyk Telesz. Stanley married his beloved wife the former Mary H. Olczak in September 1962. She survives at home.

Stanley had worked for Penn Power for several years as a coal handler until he retired. He also was a self-employed dairy farmer. Stanley had served his country as a member of the National Guard. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Joseph the Worker Site.

In addition to his wife, Stanley is survived by his children, Stanley M. Telesz and his wife, April, of New Castle, Steven Telesz and his wife, Marion, of Ellwood City, and Anne M. Zelina and her husband, Paul, of New Castle, his sister, Betty Wrona of Ellwood City, and six grandchildren.

The service is private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. 

Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Stanley eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on him forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
